David Whiteside
Director of Planning
With a head for business and a passion for cooking, Dave’s croquembouche is almost as impressive as his brand strategies (which are also sweet and somewhat healthier). Kind to clients and staff alike, Dave’s food, like his strategy, comes from the heart.
Peter Milne
Head of Copy and Content
Petes 70s-inspired style and willingness to share a wealth of knowledge are just a couple of the reasons he’s an asset here at Sense. Guiding the Copy and Content team on their quest for world domination, his cool and calm demeanour perfectly offsets a dark sense of humour.
Sue O’Neill
Finance Manager
The financial management of a successful business requires a responsible, intelligent leader who commands respect. For us, that’s Sue. A native of the Fitzroy jungle, Sue and her dog Edie can often be seen cruising down Brunswick Street in search of the perfect cup of coffee.
Harrison Friend
Senior Account Manager
All aspiring Account Managers should talk to Harrison about how the job is done. They’d learn a lot about commitment, time management, communication, strategic thinking… all the things we (and our clients) expect and appreciate. Of course, he’s much too busy to take random calls. And probably too nice to refuse.
Sanjay Hadiya
Developer
Seeing as the Sense digital department is frenetic most days, we’re grateful to have the calm and positive influence of Sanjay on board. He loves solving problems and helping out, but deep down he must also have a ruthless side. He’s passionate about table tennis, and we suspect he doesn’t lose too often.
Lisa Delahunty
Account Director
Lisa manages one of our largest clients at Sense, but that doesn’t impact her stress levels. Whether it’s delivering show stopping campaigns on a national stage, or shooting hoops on a Wednesday night, she’s one cool, calm and collected individual.
Shehzeen Pottachira
Senior Account Manager
Acing it at the office as much as on the tennis courts, Shehz brings style and passion to her role as Senior Account Manager for our blue-chip property and development clients. Although unable to hold a tune, her positive attitude truly sings… with only an occasional reminder necessary as to the importance of using her ‘inside voice.’
Guillaume Roux
Creative Director
Guillaume has an uncanny ability to deliver exactly the right creative solution according to the demands of the brief and the needs of the client and all with a French accent. He also has the uncanny ability to deliver wine and cheese to our staff at exactly the right time.
Igal Hodirker
Art Director
Igal knows how to work outside the box, drawing inspiration from his eclectic international background. He’s an Australian Israeli Russian who helps transform the agency’s good work into great work. Plus he can cook anything on a sandwich grill. Anything. Seriously.
Aude Nieul
Production Manager
Creative and organised, a manager of time, resources and relationships, French ex-pat Aude is a woman with her fingers in many pies. When she’s not producing, Aude is an avid dancer (in the Beyonce style) and a proficient puzzle solver. Says it all, really.
Marcus Rossetto
Finished Artist
When he’s not preparing invariably perfect artwork, Marcus keeps busy putting smiles on our faces with his distinctive humour. He looks like a Fitzroy native and loves street art, but don’t let the beard fool you; he hails from Tasmania and can withstand temperatures mere mortals find intolerable.
Ellen Hill
Writer & Content Editor
Equipped with a degree in journalism, a passion for the written word and a natural ability to connect with people, Ellen enjoys nothing more than creating client-appropriate content that demands attention. Except maybe red velvet cupcakes. She’s pretty fond of those tempting morsels, too.
Aira Pimping
Junior Graphic Designer
Raised on an aesthetic diet of horror films, anime and 80s pop, Aira’s predilection for bold colours and little details make her a design force to be reckoned with. Equally skilled at patting dogs and snacking as she is at crafting visual sensations, when not working you’ll likely find her strolling in blissful daydream or giving woefully inaccurate directions to tourists.
Vladlena Sergueeva
Senior Account Manager
As versatile in her role as in her ability to translate between English, Russian and French, Vlada brings a global sensibility to her work as Senior Account Manager. No challenge is too great for her worldly, adventurous mind – unless it’s making sense of choice Australian slang, or cooking something edible.
Damien Cheney
Digital Director
Over the course of his career, Damien has started two successful businesses and maintained a passion for all things digital. It’s this genuine love for the work, teamed with a great sense of humour and an unstoppable drive, which has ensured his continued success at Sense.
Vincent Casey
Senior Designer
Vincent is a pro at transforming creative briefs into designer masterpieces. His sharp wit is amplified by his thick Irish accent (which somehow makes those jokes sound even drier) but he’s a kind-hearted soul with great taste in beer and t-shirts so we’ll keep him around.
Anna Halliday
Digital & Content Strategist
Her acumen fuelled by a steady diet of honey lattes, the softly spoken Anna is a full-service digital ninja hiding in plain sight. Endowed with oceanic reserves of patience, she is an expert in several key areas of our business, and rarely says no to work… which may explain the big glass of Shiraz she rewards herself with on her occasional escapes to the country.
Andrew Thomson
Digital Strategist
Andrew is hot property. As the agency’s Digital Strategist he’s in demand, helping clients maximise their digital marketing campaigns and budgets. And as a keen grower of chilli his hot sauce recipe is mind blowing. But, despite being Scottish, Andrew isn’t so hot at golf. Or bagpipes.
Tim Wilkes
Digital Producer
Tim co-ordinates all the digital work that goes through Sense. Yes, he’s brutally efficient. “You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs,” might just be his life motto. It’s just as well then, that Tim is exceptionally good at making omelettes – both the edible and metaphorical variety.
Steve Darsow
Senior Finished Artist
Artwork can be a pernickety business. Luckily we have Steve to make sure nothing leaves the building that isn’t perfect. A natural cynic, he assumes that every job will have a problem to be found and corrected. He’s usually wrong of course, which might be why he attacks a game of squash with such vigour.
Aleesha Powell
Reception & Administration
We’re pretty certain that Aleesha has a box of positivity pills stashed away in her top drawer. It’s all we can think of to explain how she can attack every task with so much enthusiasm, how she can fit so much into a weekend, how she can smile all day long and laugh at everyone’s jokes – even the really lame ones.
