Sense Wrapping Paper

A Gift to Wrap Your Gifts In

This year’s wrapping paper brings together themes of work, Aussie summers and, of course, the painful and brutal death of thousands of great ideas.

Every year, Sense produces a wrapping paper to rival the finest in the universe. We’ve done crazy Christmas jumpers. We’ve done odes to the provenance of our multicultural staff. And this year, we’ve done Aussie Christmas using the shredded up remnants of our babies.

‘Babies’ meaning ideas, of course. Not real babies, you sickos.

This colourful, textural image was created via many hours of manual labour, shredding, sorting and, finally, threading, and then delivered with love to our clients, collaborators, suppliers and other assorted loved ones.

It was a real team effort and a much-loved project that we are really proud of and, now that Christmas is over, we can share it with the world.

Here’s what we wrote in the card:

We just couldn’t kill our darlings

Our industry is cutthroat. Beautiful, magical, whimsical and wonderful ideas – ideas we put our heart and soul into – get killed every single day.

Except, this year, we didn’t kill them. We saved them. And now, as 2015 fades and 2016 emerges, we thought we might set them free.

By throwing them in the shredder.

That’s right. We made them into something even more beautiful. A gift! A Christmas gift to wrap your Christmas gifts in!

A very merry Christmas and happy New Year to you all. May you survive the break unshredded.
