Melbourne Moonshine is a tasty drop with a great story. Sense was tasked with creating branding and packaging that honoured and amplified its already stellar foundation.
There’s not much we here at Sense love more than a drink. Our ‘end of month drinks’ has become an institution, complete with occasional live entertainment and eternally featuring great wine and cheese (always gratefully received at the end of a busy month).
But if there is one thing we love more than drinking a drink, it’s branding a drink, and when that drink is as cool, unique and naturally imbued with a wonderful story as Melbourne Moonshine is, our creative team gets drunk just off the promise.
The two guys who concocted this brew come from a long history of distillers and drinkers respectively, and their vision to introduce a smooth, drinkable and totally unique moonshine to the Australian market was one we couldn’t help but be inspired by.
We’ve been brewing up ideas for the Melbourne Moonshine packaging, branding and website for months now, mimicking the exceptional craftsmanship and fine-tuned processes that The Misters from Melbourne Moonshine use to formulate their hooch (in an unassuming warehouse in South Melbourne, no less), but it’s finally time to sample the goods – and we are pretty proud to share them with you.
Here’s to many more years of fruitful collaboration (and Moonshine-fuelled creative sessions) with the distilling misters and their band of merry mixologist friends such as Nathan Beasley from Black Pearl.
